SIMED congress, Malaga 2023

On November 17th, 2023, Christofer Fogelberg, the CEO of StartGroup Real Estates, delivered a speech at the SIMED congress in Malaga. SIMED is the largest fair for real estate agencies and promoters in the Malaga province, held annually at the Palacio de Congresos in Malaga. As a representative of the Real Estate guild GIPE, where he serves as secretary of the board, Christofer spoke alongside the European organization of real estate professions CEPI, based in Brussels.

During the speech, Christofer discussed the implementation of new software to help estate agencies perform their AML checks with the help of AI on a European level. The use of AI in AML checks can help estate agencies to speed up their customer due diligence measures and limit the risk of being used to facilitate the flow of illicit money.
