Kids activities on the Costa del Sol

A vacation on the Costa del Sol is so much more than just being on the beach or hanging around the pool! It can sometimes be a challenge to travel with kids so here are some suggestions from the staff of StartGroup of activities you can do with your children.

BIOPARC

Located in the centre of Fuengirola, you will find this well maintained zoo where you will be able to see tigers, gorillas, crocodiles, snakes and so much more… It would be perfect for a morning or afternoon activity with the kids as it won't take you too long to make your way around the whole park and the animals will be more active then during the day.

AQUALAND 

Torremolinos has the largest waterpark on the Costa del Sol!  Here you can find a large selection of exciting water slides all around the park including the Kamikazee, one of the highest slides in Europe, along with a restaurant, a bar and several sunbathing areas.

COSTA JUMP

It may not be an outdoor adventure however it sure is worth a visit. It is  Costa del Sol's first trampoline park offering an enormous indoor arena filled with over 50 interconnected wall-to-wall trampolines. Offering several activities such as dodgeball, basketball, a foam pit or Olympic trampolines, this place will keep kids and youths entertained for hours!!

CHOCOLATE FACTORY

For a sweet treat, you can take your kids up to one of the smallest chocolate factories in the world in Mijas Pueblo, where you will be able to learn about chocolate, eat ice cream and at the end make your own three chocolate bars. It’s worth splashing out and your kids will love it.

BUTTERFLY PARK

Visit the Thai-themed butterfly park located by the temple Stupa in the upper part of Benalmadena, where you will be instantly transported to the humid jungles in Asia, offering tropical plants, waterfalls, exotic animals and over 1.500 beautiful butterflies.

ADVENTURE GOLF

An amazing zip line park located close to our office in Calahonda, it offers several routes for all levels! After the challenge you can relax at the restaurant or chill at the picnic area. For the smaller kids under 6 years old there is a little adventure park for them to have fun in. It’s fun, exciting and safe, a great way to spend the day!
