What brought you to Spain and how long have you been living on Costa del Sol?
In 1999 I had been working in finance for 15 years in the UK and had just sold two houses I had bought years ago. I decided to buy a bigger house and as luck would have it had some money left over from the purchase, I already had been to the Costa Blanca and Costa Brava and decided neither of these seemed to excite me, then on a trip to Malaga everything seemed to fall into place this was the location for me. So the search was on to find a property in the Costa Del Sol, over several visits a property was found and purchased as a holiday home. The year 2000 was about to arrive and as I sat on my terrace in the evening sun with a glass of wine I decided life was too short and the grind of life in the UK was not for me. So I sold everything and moved to sunny Spain, next on the Agenda was to find a job. I was sat by the pool and an estate agent was showing the client the gardens, we had a brief chat and he arranged for an interview for me, a few days later I was a trainee real estate agent in Spain the start of a great adventure which I am still enjoying to this day.
