Cabopino Beach

This beach is truly beautiful… as beautiful as you’d expect a beach selected for the location of a TV soap to be! Cabopino beach was the one – of all those on the Costa del Sol – chosen for scenes in the soap Eldorado. The show may not have been a success but the beach certainly is!

Cabopino beach is the kind of place it would be very difficult to get bored of. Lounge with a cocktail and a captivating book on one of the comfortable sunbeds, pop into a chiringuito for some delicious lunch or throw yourself in at the deep end with one of the watersports on offer. Once the adrenaline runs dry, you can relax at one of the many fun beach bars with a well-deserved drink.

If it’s ultimately a serene, quiet beach experience you’re looking for, you can head to the Playa Artola beach, just to the west of Cabopino Port. As this area has not been built up, it’s a little quieter, exceptionally clean, and there are a lot of natural sand dunes to add to the experience.

Cabopino Port is also a very alluring location. By day the glorious sunshine reflects the images of the numerous yachts harboured there, and by night the port lights up with colour thanks to the myriad shops, restaurants and apartments.

The Port is great place to find some culinary delights; those in the know rave about Albert’s, thanks to its warm, welcoming and stylish interior design and the wonderful Port views it offers its diners. Albert’s is thought of as ‘the place to be’ for those seeking out a good steak.
