StartGroup – Professional Estate Agents on the Costa del Sol

Christofer was born in Gothenburg, Sweden, and has been living in Spain since 1999. He has been a real estate agent since 2001 and founded Start Group in 2003. In addition to Scandinavian languages, Christofer is fluent in Spanish and English. Christofer is a licensed real estate agent by both API ANAI and GIPE, which are two of the main real estate associations in Spain. He has been serving on the Advisory Board of the Association of International Property Professionals (AIPP) based in London since 2019, where he helped implement new standards for international real estate agents. In November 2022, he was elected Secretary of the Board of Directors of GIPE, and in 2024, Vice President of the organisation. GIPE Agent No. 3565.

Pascal is from Amsterdam, the Netherlands and has lived in Spain since 1995. He has been a real estate agent since 2001 and became a partner in StartGroup in 2006 after being area manager of Interealty.  Pascal is certified by GIPE as well as AIPP and speaks Dutch, German, French, English and Spanish. His main hobby is football as a very dedicated Ajax supporter. GIPE agent Nº 3576.

Jennifer is from Gothenburg, Sweden and has been living in Spain since 1993. She was working in the real estate industry on the Costa del Sol from 2001 to 2008 and after a few years in Sweden, she came back to Spain in 2011 and has worked at StartGroup since. Besides the Scandinavian languages, Jennifer speaks English, Spanish and German. Certified GIPE agent Nº 3575

Leon was born in England by Dutch and Spanish parents. Having worked previously in property and automobile conveyancing for international clients, he is a great asset to our company. He is fluent in Spanish and English. Certified GIPE agent Nº 3643

Peter was born in Soestdijk, the Netherlands. After finishing the economics school in Amsterdam he moved to Spain in 1994. He started as a real estate agent in Spain in 1999, and has also worked two years in Berlin, Germany where he helped set up a property fund. During 2008-10 represented a Buenos Aires based Polo & Country Club as a board member of the Argentinean – United Kingdom chamber of commerce. Peter speaks Dutch, English, Spanish, German, as well as some Italian. Wine and cheese tasting is his favourite hobby! GIPE member Nº 3641

Ildikó moved to Spain from Hungary in 2013. She worked for 10 years in the world famous Nikki beach, the last 6 years as a manager. Apart from Hungarian Ildikó speaks English, Spanish, Romanian fluently as well as a good level of French, German and Greek!
In her spare time she is a keen tennis player. She joined the StartGroup team in March 2023 and is currently working in sales in our exclusive developments.

Christina is German but was born and raised in Marbella. She then went to Magdeburg University in Germany to become a certified translator before moving back to Spain in 2017. Christina is working in our sales division for new developments and is attending clients with both German precision and Spanish hospitality. Best of both worlds! Christina is fluent in German, Spanish and English.

Olivier was born in Germany and moved to Spain to start a family over 20 years ago. His multicultural heritage includes a Dutch mother which made him prolific in many languages. In his spare time he loves spending time working on his boat and going on long walks with his dogs. GIPE member Nº 3656

Benjamin comes from Royan, France. He moved to Spain in 2014 and has been in the real estate business since. Hard working and he is an expert on new developments. He speaks French, Spanish and English. 

David is a friendly soul and 100% dedicated to customer care. He is often the first contact for the clients and his calm approach makes everyone feel at ease. He is a huge football fan and is one of the founders of an unofficial supporters club for Malaga FC. Having lived in Spain since 1985 he is fully bilingual and still conserves his Stoke sense of humour.

Daniel is from Gothenburg in Sweden, and has lived over 20 years in Spain. He has a background in both IT and Real Estate and speaks English, Spanish and Swedish. Daniel responsable for property valuations in our office in Benalmadena.  Daniels main interests are computers and Real Madrid! 

Charlotte is working with after sales services in our property management section StartGroup PropertyCare. Charlotte is from Sweden and has lived in Andalusia for most her life and speaks English, Swedish and Spanish.  

Was born in Zambia. Grew up in Zimbabwe until he left for the U.K in 2001. He moved to Spain in 2022, looking for a better quality of life in the sun with his family. At StartGroup he is in charge of repairs and general maintenance for the properties under yearly management. He enjoys playing various sports which includes swimming, paddle, squash and hiking and also volunteers at the local scouts group.

Patrocinia, Originally from Paraguay. She has lived in Spain since the age of four and is deeply connected to the Costa del Sol. With a background in Fine Arts and experience as a professional dancer, she combines her artistic spirit with a passion for languages and organization on her role in administration at our PropertyCare department.

Cecilia is from Sweden and has lived in Spain since 1991. Cecilia speaks Swedish, Spanish and English and provides high efficiency for our executive team. Cecilia is responsible for quality control and AML compliance.

Natalia is originally from Argentina and lived in Canada from 1998 until 2004 when she moved to Spain. Natalia speaks Spanish and English, she is the office co-ordiator in our new, contemporary Benalmadena office. Natalias hobbies includes traveling and she is a keen fan of the Carnival in Cadiz.

Oksana is from the Ukraine and has lived in Spain since 2013 . She joined our division of new developments in 2021. Oksana speaks English, Spanish, Ukrainian, Russian, Polish and German. Needless to say a great asset in our international team.

Carmen has lived in Brazil, South Africa and Portugal. In 2013, she fell in love with the Costa del Sol and decided to settle here. She studied and trained in tourism. She is admin for our New Development department. She loves travelling and plans to pursue this passion for the rest of her life!
